BOOKING TERMS AND POLICY
PAYMENT POLICY
After a confirmation has been emailed to you, a courtesy hold requires payment of $500 non-refundable deposit within 5 working days to secure the reservation.
RETREAT CANCELLATIONS
It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to check the reservation and ensure that the particulars contained therein are correct.
- The customer shall pay Nourishing Escapes Retreat a non-refundable, deposit in the sum of $500 for each person named in the reservation.
- The balance monies due shall be paid by the customer to Nourishing Escape Retreat not less than 4 weeks prior to the date of departure. Bookings within the last 4 weeks must be paid in full at time of booking. Payment can be made via bank transfer.
- If payment of either the deposit or the balance is not received by the due date Nourishing Escapes Retreats by Raw Elements Healthy Lifestyle reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.
Naturally, no one books with the intention of cancelling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please purchase travel cancellation insurance once you have made your reservation.
DEFINITIONS
“Cancellation” is defined as not attending your scheduled Nourishing Escapes Retreat,
including postponing or rescheduling.
“You” refers to the guest booking a Nourishing Escapes Retreat.
“We” refers to Nourishing Escapes Retreat.
TRAVEL AND CANCELLATION INSURANCE
To join the retreat you must have travel insurance. Please be sure that your insurance policy covers you for all relevant SPORT ACTIVITIES you will be engaging upon on your retreat & TRIP CANCELLATION. Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees. With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.
GUEST CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel your trip, Nourishing Escapes Retreats does not offer refunds for any reason. A portion of your payment may be used as credit for another retreat to be taken within two years of your original retreat date. We will gladly transfer your credit to another guest.
Depending on when you cancel, cancellation penalties may apply.
Fees are determined by the following schedule:
- If you cancel more than 90 days before your retreat start date, 100% of your payment may be applied to another Retreat minus your $500 nonrefundable payment.
- If you cancel 60 – 89 days before your retreat start date, 75% of your payment may be applied to another Retreat. You will forfeit 25% of the price of your retreat plus your non-refundable deposit.
- If you cancel 15 – 59 days before your retreat start date, 40% of your payment may be applied to another Retreat. You will forfeit 60% of the price of your retreat.
- If you cancel 14 days or less before your retreat start date, you will forfeit your entire payment.
Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason. We do not offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early. You must submit your signed Participant Agreement form within one week of booking or 90 days prior to retreat start date, whichever comes first. Guests who fail to do so may be subject to an automatic cancellation and the above policy will apply.
NOURISHING ESCAPES RETREAT CANCELLATION POLICY
While we have never cancelled a retreat to date, if Nourishing Escapes Retreats must cancel a booked retreat date for any reason, you may transfer your full retreat payment to another retreat, or you may request a refund of your payment to us, constituting a full settlement.Nourishing Escapes Retreats is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that he/she has all the relevant travel documentation and arrives at the airport in time.
Nourishing Escapes Retreat can accept no responsibility for delay or cancellation of any flights, train, buses or other forms of transport.
Nourishing Escape Retreat reserves the right to alter any facility accommodation or yoga activity.
In the event that the customer decides to downgrade their accommodation after monies have been paid, the customer will not be entitled to any refund. If the customer wishes to upgrade the new price will apply.
19. The customer must comply fully with all and any health and safety regulations introduced by Nourishing Escapes Retreat. The customer must ensure that he/she is medically and physically fit and able to use our facilities and participate in activities. Customers who have injuries or illnesses are advised to seek doctor’s advice if practicing yoga and Chakradance.
Nourishing Escapes Retreat is not liable for any injuries to the customer in his/her use of our facilities or participation in activities. A customer must always stop and rest if he/she is feeling any pain or sickness and inform the teacher of any previous injuries.
Nourishing Escape Retreat cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of personal possessions or valuables of the customer.
Nourishing Escape Retreat shall not be liable for any failures beyond its control. This covers natural disasters, war, ‘acts of God’, closure of airports, civil strife, accidents or failure to perform by third parties, including suppliers and subcontractors.
Nourishing Escapes Retreat accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury or illnesses which may be received during the customers stay or traveling to and from Lotus Yoga Retreat.
We recommend that all customers have adequate travel, cancellation and medical insurance for the duration of the trip
